Landscape

I love landscape paintings. When we moved into our house, I determined that I only wanted "real art" on my walls: original pieces that someone actually took a brush (or some other tool) to. So far, I'm doing pretty well. I have two antique landscape paintings gracing my walls, and am always on the lookout for more. I guess that's why this image, from photographer Hector Sanchez, caught my eye.

Joseph Alleman is an artist I love! We have 2 originals of his and one giclee. I think you might like them if you like landscapes.

I agree. I am always on the hunt for old landscape painting. I have found a few and painted the frames! My husband doesnt always love them - sd they remind him of his grandma's house. I say - the older the better!

Love this photo - such finery all squeezed into this little area, it makes everything seem so cozy and comforting; like the room is enveloping you. Great shot! Thanks for sharing darling!!! :)
