My two favorite dresses from the Oscars Red Carpet . . .
I thought Sandra Bullock looked so beautiful, though her dress wasn't my favorite. Her hair and makeup were impeccable! Loved that lip color.

I am so with you on Sandra Bullack. that dress was just MADE for her figure! Seriously impeccable. AND the lipstick and dress sheen? Very asian-influenced, I'd say. I argued with my mother-in-law over the lip colour. I happen to think I know better than she what with my makeup obsession and all...

oh dear. i must argue with you on the SJP look - i thought it was terrible. did you see the back of it?! a HUGE stone on her but - not on the top of her but but squarely right there on top of her but. but i guess we can't always agree, right? :D
i did love the whole SB picture and MH's dress was lovely. though i didn't love KW's dress, she did, as always, look stunning. i also love HM's ensemble - so classy, that lady.
I'm not quite sure what it was about SJP's dress. It's Chanel Haute Couture; I think I liked it because it was different but interesting, while still classy. I love the gray rose detail; I'd love to know what that was made of. Fabric? Metal? Anybody know?
I loved Mariska Hargitay's dress. I like SJP's but the neck part looked a little off to me. I thought Kristen Stewart's dress was gorgeous (shocking to see her wear something so beautiful!)
I gotta disagree with the SJP dress, too. UGH. That thing on the butt was hideous. But, I did love SB's dress, and I loved the top half of the dress on the girl from Avatar - the sparkly purple thing was so pretty on her tiny figure - I'm not sure about all the purple fluff at the bottom. I also loved Anna Kendricks dress - so classy!
SJP looked crazy bad that night. She seriously looks like she could fall over at any moment. frizzy hair and horrible makeup. The dress was ok from the front but the back was awful.
