Is it so bad that all I really want for Christmas (besides furniture for my house) is these Frye boots?

i did a post about frye boots a while ago asking for donations. surprisingly, i wasn't able to collect enough money.

but someday... someday...

No, because these boots will last you your whole life. So divide the cost by your life expectancy, and see that it's totally reasonable!

No because I emailed a link to my husband last week hinting that I would love a pair, too!!

At least you are going for a cheaper option. I'm holding out for the $458 Frye equestrian riding boots.

I might get them... but who knows when.

Go for it! After much deliberation and one really bad day, I splurged on a pair of Fryes in October. Despite being generally frugal, I have never regretted getting them -- they're an "investment piece"

hey, we must all be wishing for Frye boots. I just blogged my Christmas list (which was not as modest as yours!), and they are there.

And they are worth it. I have a pair of Frye Campus boots (in the banana yellow color--the best for campus boots), and I wear them all the time. They are even more beautiful when they age!

Oh man, those are the perfect boots. I was hoping the link was going to say $100. Yikes! Not sure I can justify $300 at the moment. But I'll dream about it :)
