Well, the final three were chosen last night, and although I don't agree completely with the judge's choices (I would have sent Gordana to Fashion Week rather than Althea), I'm still thrilled that the final three are all women! Woohoo!
Last night, the designers were asked to create a look inspired by LA's Getty Center (oh how I love that place, the best museum "cafeteria", not to mention the views). I loved Carol Hannah's inspiration (that fabulous 18th century French bed), but didn't think her dress reflected it well. Gordana's dress, however, inspired by one of Monet's views of Rouen Cathedral, was lovely. I really liked Gordana, waah.
However, I did not like her model, she always looked mad, so I chose a side view of the dress. :)

I felt like Gordana should have gone to Fashion Week based on that challenge. Why have the last challenge if they choose based on the whole season? They didn't like Althea's outfit at all last night - oh well. No one really thrills me this season - Irina is good but seems like she's a bit too rude. Carry on...
I just loved Gordana's dress--it matched the Monet painting so perfectly. I was sad for her to go. But I did think Althea performed steadily better during the whole show than Gordana...just not this week.

and who won the challenge? it should have been Gordana over Irina (just because she's not nice!). I really think the top 3 will be a good show.
I liked Gordana's dress the most as well, the others were not that fabulous in my opinion... I kept hoping that Christopher would step it up, but they were right about the poor fabric choices--he totally does need more experience!
Gordana's dress was stunning! I loved it! And I loved how much she loved it! She almost had me in tears, too! I disliked Irina's dress so much and I loved it when the judges asked the model to remove all the accessories. It was like they were reading my mind! I am happy for Carol Hannah, she seems so sweet! I hope she wins!
p.s. do you watch Models of the Runway? It's kinda cool to get the behind the scenes there, too:)

I loved hers too. I thought they would go for it also! Guess not. I'm pleased with the top 3 though.
