THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON FOR ANOTHER!
I have a great new giveaway going on this week. My talented friend, Amanda, is offering 25 of her custom holiday photo cards for one lucky winner! This is a $35-$42 value! You choose your card, email Amanda your photo of choice and your text preference, and wham bam, your cards are done!
Check out some of her original, completely customizable designs below! These are my faves, of course. You can see them all here.

I think I might have Amanda switch up the colors a bit and go with this card myself. You like?
Amanda and me at her Holiday Card Open House; check out her great photographs behind us! See more of those here.
To enter the giveaway, follow these instructions:
- Leave a comment telling me if you write Christmas letters or not. I'm taking an informal poll.
- Retweet my tweet or blog about this giveaway to earn an extra entry! (Please leave a comment letting me know if you've done either, thanks!)
- Check back Friday to see if you have won!
Amanda is also offering a 10% discount for A Room Somewhere readers! To redeem the discount, just convo Amanda when you place your order in her Etsy shop, and let her know that you are a reader of A Room Somewhere! Thanks, Amanda. You're the best. :)
Just a note about the giveaways, my last two winners have not contacted me. If you leave a comment, please either subscribe to my blog's feed or check back on the day the giveaway ends. If the winner has not contacted me after one week, I'll choose another. See here for the second Fox Paws giveaway winner and here to see if you won the Shabby Apple dress! (Coincidentally, both winners are named Rachel.) Hello! Free stuff! Email me!

My husband writes a Christmas newsletter every year. I always write a little note - I love the people we send Christmas cards to and want them to know that!
I write a Christmas letter maybe every other year. It depends if there is anything exciting to say...

I only write Christmas letters in years where there were a lot of changes: moves, new babies, etc.
I always send cards, and usually jot down a little greeting, but this year we'll have a baby (any day now!) and I'll be sending an actual Christmas letter either this year or next. Wow, I feel like a grown up!
Beautiful cards/pics.
We send a card with a picture each year but no letter for us.
Was going to order some from her this year! Love doing Christmas cards and want to get them done early this year!
I usually send out a card, and if there's time (or any exciting news that's "letter-worthy"), I'll do a letter, too.
i have a baby due in november so i would love to send out these holiday cards as a combo birth announcement! i usually send regular cards out but this year will be different! thanks! Kira
We write a letter every year!
What a great giveaway! I write Christmas cards every year and this year will be extra special because of our new addition, my daughter, Lucy!
P.S. I love your blog and read it daily!
Thanks!

Sounds like this giveaway was made for me! Awesome. Oh, and I tweeted too.
And yes, I send Christmas letters. But I keep them short and try to make them really funny.
Oh I love these cards! Nope, no Christmas letters from the Kishi family...
love her designs. I don't write a Holiday card - I do send photo cards - really, all they want to do is look at my son's picture..... but my mother-in-law usually covers us in her letter.

I love to write Christmas letters, but sometimes I don't get them out until January! I send a card and a letter not matter how late I am.
I would love to win this giveaway! I love receiving Christmas cards and letters, but sending Christmas cards/letters is my least favorite part of the season. I have to force myself to do it, I don't know why it's so hard. Sometimes I do a letter and sometimes I don't.
I love getting Christmas letters, but this will be my first year sending one. This would be a great giveaway!
Great Giveaway! I always intend to send a letter and in the end, it is a card and a photo of the family. I did send a card like this giveaway off Etsy last Christmas and i thought it was great!
I always intend to write a Christmas letter. Last year it didn't get done. The year before, it did. I guess if I do it this time I can say I do it every other year!
Last year was my first year every doing it, I think it's nice to keep everyone updated. These cards are so cute, I would LOVE To win. I check this blog all the time, so I will FOR SURE find out if I win. I entered for the Fox Paws too, I LOVE THOSE CUTE SHOES!! Thanks for all the amazing giveaways!
Holiday cards are my favorite thing about the holidays so I love this give away. I've never done a letter with my card but I'm considering it. Please post your informal poll results, I'd love to know!
I always send cards, and usually a short letter. :)
cute card designs!
I have written a Christmas letter since my oldest daughter was born, and send it to way too many people! :0) Hahaha This will be my 8th Christmas letter.

I don't generally do a Christmas letter, but I do send out cute Christmas cards with a short, handwritten note to my family and close friends. Hoping I can send out these cute, cute cards this year! Love this time of year!

We don't do a letter and we only do about 20 cards, to be honest. Keep it simple and send to people who we are not lucky enough to see during the holiday season. For some reason, massive amounts of cards with "just" a signature seem to take the spirit out of it for me.
We have written a letter in the past, but the last year or so I just didn't do it... This year, so much has happened at our house I just might pick the tradition back up!

Amanda's cards are amazing!!
p.s. retweeted the great giveaway!
we send out christmas cards. i love them!
I try and get a card out but I usually don't include a letter. These cards get me motivated to get it done early.

I write a letter most years. It seems like the only time we really have to catch up with people. This year our Christmas card will also be a baby announcement so I would love to win this! She has some really great designs.
I also blogged about this!
I write a letter if I am not too stressed. If it is too much, I don't worry about it. I usually try to send at least a card.
we send photo cards every year. It is so easy and a great excuse to update our family pictures. I love amanda's so cute!

We usually send a letter...I think they are more fun than just getting a card with just a signature. :)
I tweeted this. :)
We do cards every year but we don't write letters every year.

We send out cards - i'd love to win these.
I do usually write a Rammell Family catch up to go along with our card, but I try and keep it short and casual.

I would love to win! Great designs!
I send out cards but no letter. It's something I'd like to start though now that our little munchkin is learning so many new things.
Tosha
I write a letter every other year--basically whenever we have a baby. Otherwise it would just say, "We're still in grad school..."
We write a Christmas lettet every year...even if it is late!
We do online letters. I guess we're cheap that way.
Blogged about this on my blog. We love Amanda!
Last year was the first year we sent out a Christmas card. We'll be doing it again this year. Beautiful cards!
i haven't written a christmas letter to date - i can see myself [hopefully] doing so this year if our house closing goes through before then!
tara@coolbluei.com
Yes, I write Christmas cards... I love hearing updates from everybody every year!! I love your blog. Thanks!
We usually send our letters unless I'm being too lazy--then its just the card!
Crossing fingers!
Now that we have kids...we do write a Christmas letter because doesn't everyone want to know how wonderful they are :)
Melanie
I always write a personal note on each Christmas card, but I wouldn't' call it a letter. I would LOVE for Amanda to make our Christmas cards this year!
Thanks for the giveaway!

I send cards every year, since I was a teenager.
I have gotten out of the habit of sending christmas cards but seeing this giveaway makes me wanna start up again .... thanx... these cards are adorable.
I've never written Christmas letters. I've just always sent Christmas cards.
I always write Christmas letters and love to receive them. I hang photo cards from a photo mobile in the kids' room. They love to see how faraway friends have changed.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I never write christmas letters. I always send photo cards so others can see our family grown, but never letters. I'm not crazy about receiving and reading others two page letters so I don't send them.

i don't do christmas letters. yet. i think one day i will, but it feels a bit silly to me right now with just one child (and one on the way). a little presumptive, maybe? i don't know what it is, but something about writing one at this stage of life feels weird. but i do like reading them, and think one day when my family is larger and more spread out, i will join the writing club. i would, however, love to send out a picture card like the ones in this giveaway :).
lizsproul@gmail.com
I don't send letters, I always do a picture and write a little note to each person!
I love reading other peoples letters. I feel sometimes my letters are more like the movie Groundhog's Day. Nothing too exciting. :)
I always want to do a letter, but end up that I have nothing to say that can't be said in a sentance or two. so then we just send a photo card. that way everyone can see how cute we are but don't have to listen to us brag about how nice our life is. my dad for years sent out a spoof Christmas card and wrote in hillbilly code. it was funny. it inspired me to not conform to the Christmas card, but i have yet to do something really inspired rather than not send out a letter....
We have done letters in the past but now I just prefer a picture and holiday greeting. Would LOVE some of Mandy's cards. She is one talented chica!!
I send a picture card every year and a letter about every other year. We'd love to win your fab cards! Wahoo!
Jen- (sam conover's friend ;) )
oh- ya- I'll put it on my blog too. Thanks!
Neat cards! I've only done 2 Christmas letter. I actually started my blog to sort of tell the OTHER side of Christmas letters, the unvarnished truth.
