Nest Cupcakes

These Bird's Nest Cupcakes from Country Home are a new twist on another idea, from Martha Stewart. Even the little birdies are shortbread cookies!

Something makes me think the toasted coconut tastes better than the chow mein noodles. Aren't they a bit salty? I don't eat them much.
