Coin Quilt

I'm loving this most recent custom quilt lovingly made by my friend, Nettie. Such happy colors and she is a genius at putting her lovely fabrics together. I need one, Nettie!

I cherish my old family quilts. One was made by my mother, grandmother, and great grandmother together. One by another great grandmother is just the quilt top, with her needle in it right where she left it.

I tried quilting once with a ladies Bible class, and wound up poking myself in the finger too many times ~ but it was still nice to say "I've quilted." ;-)
