Last summer, I posted this pretty idea for necklace storage. It uses radiator grill and an old frame, neither of which I have hanging around, but the idea has been swimming in my head for a while now. I have lots of semi-chunky necklaces and rather than mushing them all up in a box, I thought I'd try my hand at this project. Radiator grill is not readily available, I've found, after several searches. If you live in a cold climate, you might have better luck, but it's quite pricey when I've seen it. I had an old fireplace screen that didn't quite go in my rental house, so I took some metal snips to it, and tacked the sections of screen into some open frames I bought at the craft store.
My results aren't quite as eye-pleasing as the example from Better Homes & Gardens, but my new storage does the trick, and matches my black furniture.
I posted another easy jewelry-storage-as-art idea here.

Great idea
Maybe not like what you show as inspiration, but still pretty. Much nicer than my pile of entangled necklaces that look like a spiderweb.
